My Grandma’s Wisdom – Trouble

I generally was a well behaved child and I tried to be so at my Grandma’s house. But even mostly behaved children sometimes get rambunctious. Misheard Lyrics of the Cars – 2

Are there many bands more exciting than the magnficent Cars?

There invigorating songs place us smack firmly into a world of pleasing possibilities. They make us want to go ahead. Every time.

Well, no.

Only if you hear the correct lyrics.

The song “Let’s Go” foretold good times The true lyrics include:

I don’t want to hold her down
Don’t want to break her crown
When she says, “Let’s go”
“I like the nightlife, baby”
She says, “I like the nightlife, baby”
She says, “Let’s go”

Very Tired

My stunt double

I haven’t slept well for some days now. So, I’m very tired. I did go to my crafts group and worked on my Minnie Mouse latch project. Then I shopped for three special meals. It took  a long time. I had planned to make Strawberry Balsamic Chicken but was  too tired and had sad graham crackers instead,

I’m too tired to make a special picture, so my Stunt Double is going to fill in for me instead. He’s rather a nice guy.

Paul’s Awesome English Dictionary – Today’s Phrases: Trash Read and Retrash Read.

How many thousands of times has this happened to you? You take a frozen package out of the freezer. You take the food out of the package. You then throw the packaging into the trash bin. Oops. You haven’t read the instructions, have you?

So, you fish the package out of the trash bin. And you leave it until you’ve followed all the instructions.

We need phrases for both these scenarios.
