Did any of you ever think the Drifters sang “tragedy” instead of “dance with me” in the song “Dance With me.” Doesn’t it change the tone of the song just a bit? Indeed, the below misheard lyrics seem particularly ominous.
Ladies, I really think you should run away from this guy. The signs are unmistakable.

I misread the following news title today:
“A 46,000-year-old worm found in Siberian permafrost was brought back to life, and started having babies”

I really thought for an instant that the sentence went as below. My misreading immediately conjured up startling images.

We all need luggage when travelling. But a good piece of luggage can be expensive. It can even run you a million bucks as this good soul found to her dismay. Fortunately, she found herself a million-dollar discount. Huzzah! This brought the price down to $0.00. Free. And that’s cheaper than a $50 suitcase with no rebate. There’s a lesson here for all of us.

Flat Earthers walk among us. They claim, of course, that the Earth is flat. But what sort of flat shape do they assert our planet to be? Is it a rectangular disc? A oval one? Or even a flat doughnut with a hole in the middle? Do we eat doughnts to symbolically eat our home? This discussion is important if we don’t walk off the Earth’s edges? I do hope Earth isn’t a flat doughnut. We might fall into our planet’s doughnut hole! We’d drop forever!
