Grit magazine is still around. I saw hundreds of their ads in darn near every comic book that came out when I was growing up in the 60’s. But they never gave any indication of promoting culinary adventuring. Until now. Please enjoy the following pictures. The first one is from Sad Sack and the Sarge magazine, July, 1969.
